Pandya continues to advance down the track and also walk across. His charge is forcing the pacers to go wide and he is opting to leave most of the deliveries outside the off-stump.

He looks to pull a short ball but gets a bottom edge which goes on the bounce to the keeper.

Ngidi pitches it up as Pandya stays still and punches it down the ground past mid-on for a four.

Ngidi bowls a wide bouncer which bounces quite high and the umpire calls it a wide. The last ball is full and well wide as Pandya again walks across before leaving it through to the wicketkeeper.

Morkel bowling a lot of short deliveries at Pandya's body from round the wicket. Pandya offers no shot to the first couple of deliveries before he clips a full one and nearly chips to the fielder at square leg.

Morkel bowls another bouncer but this time Pandya gets right behind the line and blocks it confidently.

With around 10 minutes to go, Philander comes back. He has not had much of the bowling on Day 2 and has sent down eight overs so far.

Kohli continues to find the gap on the off-side for a single before Pandya clips the third ball on the leg side for another run.

Morkel then bowls a short ball as Pandya is hit on the gloves for a single on the leg side.

Morkel bowls a wide inswinger which Kohli leaves alone only to see it bounce before reaching the wicketkeeper.
