Bumrah bowls a superb delivery as Amla is beaten outside the off-stump before he takes a single two balls later.

In the next over, Philander takes on the short ball from Shami but fails to make proper connection as the ball falls safely on the leg side for a couple of runs.

Ishant comes back as Philander clips him fine for one. Amla walks across and gets a short ball which he looks to glance but is struck on the gloves as it falls away from wicketkepeer Parthiv.

Amla sustains another painful hit on the gloves as they physio comes out to attend.

Philander offers no stroke to the last ball as it bounces just over the stumps.

South Africa are 139 for six in 52 overs, trailing India by just 48 runs.
