SA 129-6 (48 ovs) vs India 187 | Scorecard

New batsman Quinton de Kock is beaten all ends up by the outswinger from Bhuvi, who manages to swing it a long way, and he does it twice in a row.

De Kock will feel a lot better after getting his bat to the third ball, defending it back to the bowler. Bhuvi switches to round the wicket but the left-hander manages to see off the rest of the over.

Bumrah beats Amla outside the off-stump with the outswinger before the right-hander taps the next ball on the leg side for one.

Mohammed Shami comes into the attack and he starts with a short wide delivery. And Amla makes the most of the opportunity as he crashes the loosener square on the off-side for a four and take his score to 48.

Amla has a close shave as he is sent back halfway down the track looking for a quick single but the fielder misses with the direct hit.

Shami has bowled just four overs so far and India need him to come up with a good spell if they are restrict South Africa to around the 150-mark.

De Kock drives a full delivery from Bumrah through the off-side for a couple before he gets an inside edge which narrowly misses the stumps and gets him a single.

Shami haas been disappointing so far. He bowls another loose delivery, short and a lot of width, as de Kock steers it behind square on the off-side for his first boundary.

He shuffles across a long way to the next ball as he looks to clip it but looks to have missed as it goes for a four.

The Indians appeal for LBW but interestingly the umpire calls it runs thinking the batsman might have got an inside edge.

The Indians take the DRS but turns out to be a poor review as the impact is on the leg stump and the ball is going down further as they lose one of their reviews.

Bumrah strikes with the wicket of de Kock who goes for big drive but gets an inside edge and is caught behind for eight.

Vernon Philander has come out with a positive intent as he pulls a short ball from Bumrah over midwicket for a four.
