Kuldeep Yadav claimed six wickets while Rohit Sharma hit a century as India crushed England by eight wickets in the first ODI in Nottingham on Thursday.

Electing to bowl, India bowled out England for 268 before they cruised to an emphatic eight-wicket win with 9.5 overs to spare.

Rohit finished unbeaten on a brilliant 137 from 114 balls, hitting 15 fours and four sixes.

Spinner Kuldeep Yadav claimed a six-wicket haul as India bowled out England for 268 in the first One-Day International in Nottingham, on Thursday.

Kuldeep registered career-best figures of six for 25 in his 10 overs as England's batsmen again once again struggled against the Indian wrist spinner.

Jos Buttler top-scored with a fluent 53 from 51 balls while Ben Stokes struggled to 50 from 103 balls, putting on 93 runs for the fifth wicket to steady the England innings in the middle overs
