Two reserve players come out with a message for Dhoni at the break between overs.

The India captain then swings Plunkett over the leg side but is caught at deep midwicket after a painful innings of 37 from 59 balls.

It has been a surprising knock from the former India captain, who never really challenged the England bowlers and let the match drift away. Of course, he was not helped by wickets falling at the other end, but he could have atleast tried to provide some entertainment if he didn't believe that India could not win.

Plunkett strikes again in the over as Kaul is trapped leg before wicket for one. He decides to take the review but the ball is going on to hit the middle stump which means he has walk back for one as England close in on victory.

He survives a run out opportunity off the final delivery. In the next over, Kuldeep denies Plunkett a five-wicket haul as he watchfully plays out a maiden.

The England pacer finishes with excellent figures of four for 46 in his 10 overs.

A disappointing batting effort by India as they are bowled out for 236 in their 50 overs, to lose by 86 runs.

Welcome to the coverage of the second One-Day International between England India at Lord's on Saturday.

A high-on-confidence India will look set to wrap up another series on the UK tour unless England find a way to tackle the marauding Kuldeep Yadav when the two teams clash in the second and penultimate ODI at Lord's in London on Saturday.

India are unbeaten in bilateral ODI series since the tour of Australia in January 2016. They have won nine successive contests thereafter, with the 2017 Champions Trophy the only tournament wherein they failed to return with a trophy.

They will be high on confidence following their eight-wicket victory in the first game in which Kuldeep starred with a six-wicket haul, while Rohit Sharma hit an unbeaten century.
