India have completed their quota of 90 overs for the day and we still another 18-20 minutes left for stumps.

Kuldeep comes in from the other end as he replaces Jadeja. The first ball is way short but stays low as Chase somehow manages to pull it to fine leg for a single.

New batsman Devendra Bishoo defends the next four balls before Kuldeep gets the last ball to turn sharply and bounce as the left-hander offers no shot.

With around 10 minutes for lunch, Chase decides not to take on the short ball from Umesh as he ducks under it and watchfully defends the rest of the over.

Kuldeep gets the ball to turn sharply as Bishoo has a poke and is beaten. The spinner keeps flighting and Bishoo does well to come forward and block.

Ravichandran Ashwin comes into the attack from the other end. Chase turns the second ball on the leg side for one and Bishoo picks a run from the next to get off the mark.

Chase hits a full delivery down the long-on for another single before Bishoo defends the last two balls.

Kuldeep bowls the final over as Chase uppishly drives the last ball to long-off for one.

At stumps on Day 1, West Indies recover to reach 295 for five in 95 overs, with Chase unbeaten on a brilliant 98 from 174 balls, while Bishoo was not out on two.
