Anderson gets Rahul to edge one but it falls short of the fielder at third slip before he rocks and punches a short ball square on the off-side for a four.

Broad getting good movement with the new ball as he gets it to come in sharply and Pujara does well to defend it. Then he beats the right-hander with one that goes away as it beats the batsman before Pujara manages to clip it to the leg side for one to get off the mark.

The last ball is steered to point by Rahul for another single.

Ben Stokes comes into the attack after just two overs with the new ball for Anderson.

Rahul shows some intent as he lofts the first ball from the pacer over the off-side for a four, followed by three singles from the next three balls.

Rahul looking to take the attack to the England fast bowlers. He attempts another lofted shot, this time off Broad, but fails to time it properly as he skies it on the off-side but it falls safely for a single.

Pujara will take his time after the early dismissal of Dhawan. He offers the straight bat, playing very late, to the incoming ball from Broad before he manages the glance the fifth ball fine for a four as the pacer errs with his line.

In the next over, Rahul taps Stokes towards point for a single before Pujara defends the rest of the over with utmost caution.
