India's openers, KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan, need to come up with a good score to justify their place in the team.

Both have got off to starts but have been unable to carry on.

KL Rahul off the mark instantly as he hits a wide delivery from James Anderson through the covers for three runs to get off the mark.

Shikhar Dhawan steers the fifth ball square on the off-side for two runs past point before he takes a single off the last ball.

Stuart Broad strikes with his first delivery. He gets the ball to come in sharply as Dhawan is hit on the pads trying to come forward and the umpire gives it out.

Dhawan has a chat with his partner before deciding to take the DRS but he has run out of time and has to make his way back.

Dhawan out for three as India end up losing an early wicket.
