England 359-4 (47 ovs) vs Afg | Scorecard

Afghanistan captain Naib brings himself back into the attack. But no stopping Morgan who lofts the first ball back over the bowler's head for his 15th six.

It's raining sixes at Old Trafford as he pulls the medium pacer for another maximum over long-on. That is his 16th six, to equal the record for most sixes in an ODI innings, jointly held by Rohit Sharma, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle.

A slight relief for Afghanistan as Morgan can only dig out the yorker on the leg side for a single to get off strike.

Root chances his arm but he ends up holing out the slower ball to the fielder at long-on to perish after a good innings of 88 from 82 balls.

It ends a good partnership of 189 runs from 102 balls for the fourth wicket with Morgan, which has left Afghanistan totally battered and bruised.

Naib misses the yorker as Morgan lofts it down the ground for another six, his 17th of the innings -- a new World record in ODIs for the most sixes in an innings.
