Root hits fifty, England set for huge score

Nabi comes back for another spell. A single to Root before Morgan plays three dot balls and then gets off the mark with one run to long-off. Root hits the last ball square on the off-side for a couple to make it four runs from the over.

Naib comes under attack from Morgan. He oversteps to concede a no-ball and gives away a free hit which Morgan pulls over midwicket for a six.

The England captain then lofts the next ball straight down the ground for another six before taking one.

Root picks a single off the last ball as Naib gives away 15 runs in his eighth over.

Meanwhile, Root continues his golden run with the bat. He picks a single off Nabi on the leg side to complete his fifty from 54 balls, his fifth half-century in six innings in ODIs.

Morgan looks keen to get on with things and quicken the scoring rate. He reverse sweeps a wide delivery from Nabi past the slip fielder for a four to race to 18 from 11 balls.

Morgan chips the last ball which falls just short of long-off for a single.
