Zadran bowls a good short ball which hits Morgan on the gloves as he tries to fend it and he gets a single.

Root then glances it fine for a couple before cutting a short wide delivery for a four over point.

Another short ball is pulled for a couple by Root and he keeps strike with a single from the last ball.

Mujeeb is back into the attack. A single to Root before Morgan sweeps the fourth ball for two runs before taking one off the last ball to keep strike.

Nabi is back for another spell. Morgan pulls the first ball over midwicket for a six to race to his fifty in grand style, from just 36 balls.

The England captain has changed gears and not surprising as there is still some batting to come including Jos Buttler.

In the next over, Morgan slog sweeps Mujeeb over midwicket for a six and two balls later sweeps it fine for a four.

Mujeeb tries the quicker delivery which slips down the leg side and is called a wide and they also steal a run as it beats the wicketkeeper.

England are 255 for two in 40 overs, and certainly look set to post around the 350-run mark.

Morgan has smashed his way to 67 from 43 balls, while Root has made 66 from 68 balls.
