England 217-2 (36 ovs) vs Afg | Scorecard

Leg-spinner Rashid is back into the attack. A single each to Morgan and Root before the former cuts a wide delivery past point for two runs before he again plays the same shot off the last ball to get another three runs.

Pacer Zadran is back into the attack. After two dot balls, Morgan gets the outside edge but it falls short of the wicketkeeper before he takes one.

Root then pulls the fifth ball for two runs as the pacer gives away just three runs.

England are set for a huge total as they reach 199 for two in 35 overs, with Root on 53 from 57 balls and Morgan on 26 from 24 balls.

Morgan hits Rashid through the covers for two runs before he slog sweeps the next but Zadran at deep midwicket pedalling back messes up an easy opportunity to give the England captain a lifeline and also a boundary.

Morgan then hits the next ball in the same region and clears the fielder comfortably this time around for a six.

The last ball is again short and Morgan plays the pull shot to good effect again for the second six of the over.

Rashid goes for 18 runs in the over when infact he should have got the wicket of Morgan.
