NZ 8-1 (2 ovs) vs India 179 | Scorecard

Bhuvneshwar Kumar will open the bowling for India, who will be eyeing a few early wickets with the new ball.

Interestingly, Dinesh Karthik is the wicketkeeper for India as Dhoni is given some rest.

Martin Guptill clips the second ball behind square leg for two runs to get off the mark and then steers the fifth ball to thirdman for one.

Colin Munro wastes no time as he comes down the track to the first ball he faces, and clubs the length ball from Bhuvneshwar straight down the ground for a four.

Jasprit Bumrah will bowl from the other end. Guptill takes a single from the second ball before Bumrah strikes in his first over with the wicket of Munro.

Bumrah accounts for Munro with an unplayable yorker bowled at full tilt as the left-hander is late to get his bat down and is hit on the toes, plumb in front.

Munro walks back for four as New Zealand lose an early wicket.

Kane Williamson gets a good delivery first up, coming in sharply to hit him high on the legs before he offers no shot to the next ball.
