De Grandhomme strays down the leg side as Dhoni misses the glance but the ball hits the pads and goes fine for four leg byes.
The pacer gets his line right for the next few balls, with four dot balls in a row to Dhoni, who keeps strike with one from the last ball.
Neesham also bowls his first ball down the leg side to Dhoni, who this time gets some bat on it, to glance it fine for a four. Another ball on the pads as Dhoni taps it on the leg side for one.
Ravindra Jadeja watchfully defends the rest of the over as India look to build some sort of partnership.
Southee is back into the attack.The first ball comes in sharply as Dhoni is hit on the pads but he seems to have got an inside edge which saves him.
Two balls later, Dhoni perishes as he comes down the track and looks to lift it over the leg side but fails to get enough elevation and is caught by the fielder at midwicket.
Dhoni walks back after a disappointing innings of 17 from 42 balls as India slip to 91 for seven, in the 23rd over.
Southee then slips one down the leg side to Bhuvneshwar Kumar as it keeps going away to beat the wicketkepeer for five wides.
