Naimur is new Bangla skipper

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has named all rounder Naimur Rahman as its new captain, replacing Aminul Islam.

No reason for the replacement was given. Wicket-keeper Khaled Masud will be the vice captain.

Naimur's first assignment will be the International Cricket Council Knock-out World Cup in Kenya later this year. From Kenya, Bangladesh is expected to travel to South Africa to play Tests and ODIs.

The BCB also announced a 25-member squad for a coaching camp, from which the final touring party will be picked.

The squad: Naimur Rahman (captain), Khaled Masud (wicket keeper), Javed Omar, Mehrab Hossain, Shahriar Hossain, Ehsanul Haq, Aminul Islam, Akram Khan, Habibul Bashar, Al Shahriar, Nasirul Alam, Rajin Saleh, Mohammad Ashraful, Nasiruddin Faruk, Anwar Hossain, Enamul Haq, Hasibul Hossain, Manjrul Islam, Fahim Muntasir, Mushfiq Babu, Mohammad Rafiq, Talha Jubair, Bikash Ranjan Das, Shabbir Khan, Aminul Islam Bhola and Anwar Hossain.
