PCB chief seeks report on alleged sexual misconductPakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief General Tauqir Zia has asked coach Javed Miandad to submit a detailed report on allegations of sexual misconduct by three cricketers, an official said Sunday.Three members of the Pakistani cricket team allegedly invited women into their hotel rooms before the squad left for Singapore to play a limited-overs tri-nations series last week. PCB director Yawar Saeed said an inquiry could be launched based on Miandad's report. "General Tauqir Zia spoke to the coach in Singapore on Saturday night on the telephone and discussed the reported incident," Saeed told AFP. "Javed has been asked to submit details of the incident after the team's return from Singapore." The News daily on Friday reported that the three players, who were not named, invited the women into their hotel rooms in the eastern city of Lahore while the team was there to train for the Singapore series. It said the women were "followed by some shady characters" who demanded money from the cricketers to hush up the matter, which was paid in dollars. The three players did not report for the final session of training the day after the alleged incident, the report said. Pakistan on Sunday won its first match of the tournament against New Zealand by 12 runs.
