Ganguly and Dahiya face action for dissent

India captain Sourav Ganguly and wicketkeeper Vijay Dahiya face stiff action after the umpires reported them on Monday for constant appeals during their side's one-day victory over Zimbabwe.

Umpires C K Sathe and Devender Sharma reported the pair to referee Barry Jarman for breaking the ICC code of conduct and Jarman ruled the players violated three sections -- showing dissent, bringing the game into disrepute and intimidation. He will hand down any punishment on Tuesday, officials said.

India won the match by nine wickets to take a winning 3-1 lead in the five-match series.
