Bangladesh all out for 400

Bangladesh were all out for 400 in their first innings, in their inagural Test against India, shortly before tea on the second day on Saturday.

The highlight of the innings was a brilliant knock by former skipper Aminul Islam, who scored 145 to put his country in the driver's seat in the Test.

Sunil Joshi was the pick of the Indian bolwers, grabbing five wickets for 142 runs -- his first five wicket haul in Test cricket.

Islam became only the third batsman to hit a century in a country's maiden Test match. Charles Bannerman of Australia was 165 not out in Melbourne against England in 1876/77 and Dave Houghton of Zimbabwe 121 against India in 1992/93.

Islam's century came from a sweep shot off Murali Karthik while playing his 282nd ball on the second day of the one-off Test. His century spell includes 13 fours.
