Rain disrupts England-PCB tie

The second day's play in the three-day match between England and Pakistan Cricket Board XI was called off on Friday due to overnight rain.

Umpire Ehtesham ul-Haq and Asad Rauf inspected the ground after lunch and decided to call off the day's play.

England were 76-2 in reply to PCB's first innings score of 117.

The tourists meet Pakistan in the second Test match at Faisalabad on November 29. The first Test here last week ended in a draw.
