Telemachus penalised

South African medium pacer Roger Telemachus has become the second player to be suspended for unbecoming conduct in the ICC Knockout trophy.

The South African Western Province player was found guilty of indiscipline during his team's semi-final match against India last Friday by the referee Cammie Smith.

Telemachus appeared to have impeded the Indian batsmen from making their runs during the match, causing unneccessary pushing and shovelling.

He has subsequently been suspended for the next game his team will play, joining the Zimbabwean opener Alistair Campbell, who was suspended for swearing last Monday.
