First Blood
Pakistan got off to a blitzing start with young Imran Nazir and Saeed Anwar in full flow. The good work done by the openers was not put to waste with Inzaman Ul Haq holding the innings together in the middle overs though the run-rate slackened a bit. Inzaman Ul Haq went on to score 71 off 87 deliveries.
