Zaheer joins Indian Oil

India's new pace sensation Zaheer Khan has been recruited directly as a sports officer by leading public sector undertaking Indian Oil.

Indian Oil also have Mumbai opener Wasim Jaffer, who has represented India, in its ranks.

Other leading sportspersons employed with the company are table tennis stars Chetan Baboor, S Raman and Niyati Shah; ace shuttler Pulela Gopichand, former national tennis champion Asif Ismail, chess player D V Prasad and shooter Manavjit Singh.
