Suresh Perera reported for 'suspect action'

Sri Lanka medium pacer Suresh Perera has been reported for 'suspect bowling action' by umpire Steve Bucknor and will be subjected to the International Cricket Council's 'review process', the Sri Lanka cricket board said in Colombo on Saturday.

A brief statement from the Sri Lankan board said Bucknor had reported the young all-rounder during the first Test against India, at Galle, which ended in a 10-wicket victory for the hosts on Friday.

In keeping with ICC regulations, Perera would be sent for the review process, the statement, signed by match-referee Cammie Smith and Sri Lanka board Chief Executive Officer Anura Tennekoon said.
