Mark Waugh plays 100th consecutive Test

Mark Waugh Australia batsman Mark Waugh, 36, played his 100th consecutive Test on Wednesday in the second Test against South Africa, becoming only the third player to achieve the feat.

Allan Border (Australia) 153: 1978-79 to 1993-94
Sunil Gavaskar (India) 106: 1974-75 to 1986-87
Mark Waugh (Australia) 100: 1993 to 2001-02
Gundappa Viswanath (India) 87: 1970-71 to 1982-83
Garfield Sobers (West Indies) 85: 1954-55 to 1971-72
