Bisla to lead under-17 team for Asia Cup

Manvinder Bisla of Haryana will lead India in the ICC-ACC under-17 Asia Cup, to be held in Bangladesh from February 15 to 25.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel of Gujarat will be his deputy.

The 14-member team will assemble in Delhi on February 12 before leaving for Dhaka on February 14, a Board of Control for Cricket in India statement said.

The team: Manvinder Bisla (capt-Haryana), Parthiv Patel (vice-capt-Gujarat), Shekhar Dhawan and K Rawat (both from Delhi), Sachin Dhopure and Mohnish Mishra (both from Madhya Pradesh), Deepak Chowgule and Stuart Binny (both from Karnataka), Gaurav Gupta of Punjab, G Shankar Rao of Andhra, Rakesh Mohanty and Bignesh Mohanty (both from Orissa), Devendra Singh of Uttar Pradesh and Nikhil Rathod of Saurashtra.
