First NZ -Pak ODI postponed

The first one-day international between New Zealand and Pakistan on Saturday was postponed until Sunday because of persistent rain.

Rain had fallen in Auckland all day and a decision was made at 2:30 p.m. (0130 GMT) -- 30 minutes after the scheduled start of the day-night match -- to abandon play for the day.

The game has been rescheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, although the weather forecast is for continuing rain.

Pakistan are playing five one-day internationals and three tests during their six-week tour.
