Harris on a high

All-rounder Chris Harris became New Zealand's highest one-day wicket-taker when he dismissed Pakistan's Shahid Afridi on Tuesday to pass Sir Richard Hadlee's record of 158 wickets.

Harris moved onto a international one-day career figures 159 wickets from 175 matches -- passing Hadlee's 158 wickets in 115 appearances -- with his third ball of the innings when Afridi got a thick edge and Nathan Astle took the catch at point.

Chris HarrisAfridi came to the wicket following the dismissal of Yousuf Youhana for 10. Youhana got an edge while trying to sweep Daniel Vettori and the ball struck his shoulder before floating over wicketkeeper Adam Parore to be caught low down by captain Stephen Fleming.

Earlier, fast bowler Daryl Tuffey had reduced Pakistan to 21 for three.

Tuffey struck again in his first over of a new spell when Fleming held his second catch to dismiss captain Moin Khan for one in the 26th over and Pakistan slumped to 62 for six.
