MacGill back for fifth Test against the West Indies

Australian selectors have opted to take two spinners into the fifth Test against the West Indies starting in Sydney on Tuesday, leaving paceman Andrew Bichel as 12th man.

With the Sydney Cricket Ground wicket promising to assist the slow men, selectors named off-spinner Colin Miller and leg-spinner Stuart MacGill as Australia tries to extend its four-match winning streak against the hapless tourists.

Stuart Macgill MacGill was 12th man in last week's Melbourne Test, allowing Bichel to claim his first five-wicket haul in Test cricket.

But it didn't take long for Bichel to learn he would carry the drinks in Sydney with hardly a blade of grass in sight.

The Windies have yet to name their team but they are keeping an eye on injured opening batsman Daren Ganga.

The 21-year-old has a sore foot and captain Jimmy Adams said he could be given until Tuesday morning to prove his fitness. Adams said the Windies could yet play leg-spinner Mahendra Nagamootoo for the first time in the series as a replacement for injured fast bowler Mervyn Dillon.

Australia: Steve Waugh (captain), Adam Gilchrist, Michael Slater, Matthew Hayden, Justin Langer, Mark Waugh, Ricky Ponting, Jason Gillespie, Stuart MacGill, Colin Miller, Glenn McGrath, Andy Bichel (12th man).
