Aussies thrash West Indies by 10 wickets

Australia thrashed West Indies by 10 wickets in their limited overs international on Friday with Brett Lee taking four wickets for 33 runs.

The West Indies were all out for 123 off just 35.1 overs.

Australia, undefeated in five matches in the triangular series against Zimbabwe and West Indies, scored 124 off 22.5 overs without losing a wicket in reply.

Damien Martyn made 69 from 80 balls with nine fours and Darren Lehmann continued his good form with 50 off 58 balls.

Lee, bowling at speeds of 150 kph (93 mph), showed he had recovered from back problems as he dismissed top batsman Brian Lara leg before wicket for a first-ball duck and beat West Indies captain Jimmy Adams's defences with a slower ball.

The visitors slumped to 32 for five off 10.1 overs.

Tailenders Nixon McLean (24 not out) and Cameron Cuffy (13) added a face-saving 41 for the 10th wicket, the highest partnership of the innings, while swing bowler Damien Fleming, in his first game for Australia this summer, took three for 32.
