Haddin flies in to replace injured Gilchrist

Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist has an injured hip and will be replaced by New South Wales's Brad Haddin for a three-day game against an Indian Board President's team starting on Tuesday.

Adam Gilchrist But Gilchrist said on Sunday he would be fit in time for the second Test in Calcutta which begins on March 11.

Haddin, 23, is a wicketkeeper-batsman who made his one-day international debut against Zimbabwe in January. He is being flown in from Australia.

Gilchrist played a big role in Australia's 10-wicket first Test victory over India in Bombay last week.

He scored a 112-ball 122 to rescue Australia from 99 for five in the first innings and was named Man of the Match.
