Fan killed in Antigua after ODI

A young cricket fan was fatally stabbed at the Antigua Recreation Ground on Wednesday after the end of the One-Day International between the West Indies and South Africa.

Police said they have a suspect in custody but it is not known whether he's been charged in connection with the death of Craig Edwards. It is the first death at a cricket match in Antigua, the Caribbean news agency CANA reported.

According to media reports, Edwards had been dancing in one of the Recreation Ground's stands about one hour after the game ended when he became involved in an argument with another man.

South Africa beat West Indies by eight wickets in the second of seven one-day internationals.
