Hirwani to play in England

Indian Test spinner Narendra Hirwani will play for Walton League club in England this season.

He left for the UK from Bombay on Saturday morning, and will play for the Manchester-based club for four months.

Hirwani, who claimed 16 wickets on his Test debut against the West Indies at Madras, was included in the Indian squad for the Bombay Test in the just-concluded Test series against Australia, but was unable to get selected in the final eleven.
