ICC name officials for Ashes Series

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named the officials for the Ashes series between England and Australia starting in July.

West Indian umpire Steve Bucknor will stand in the first two Tests at Edgbaston and Lord's, starting on July 5 and 19 respectively. He will partner home officials George Sharp and John Holder.

Steve Bucknor Srinivas Venkataraghavan of India will take the following two games at Trent Bridge and Headingley, starting August 2 and 16 respectively, with John Hampshire and David Shepherd.

The final test at the Oval starting on August 23 will see South Africa's Rudi Koertzen standing with Peter Willey.

Pakistan's Talat Ali will act as match referee for the series.

The Australians arrive in Britain on May 29.
