Lanka names squad to face India, Kiwis

Sri Lanka named a 22-member squad on Thursday for a three-Test home series against India and a triangular one-day tournament that includes New Zealand.

The cricket board said in a statement that Sanath Jayasuriya had been retained as captain of a side largely unchanged from the one that lost a three-Test series to the touring England team earlier this year.

India's 50-day tour will begin on July 15.

Squad: Sanath Jayasuriya, Marvan Atapattu, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara, Russel Arnold, Muttiah Muralitharan, Kumar Dharmasena, Chaminda Vaas, Indika de Saram, Tillakeratne Dilshan, Tilan Samaraweera, Dilhara Fernando, Nuwan Zoysa, Akalanka Ganegama, Aravinda de Silva, Hashan Tillakeratne, Dulip Liyanage, Suresh Perera, Dinuk Hettiarachchi, Sanjeewa Weerakoon, Niroshan Bandaratileke.
