Zimbabwe in Dhaka to play maiden series

A 15-member Zimbabwe cricket team, led by Brian Murphy, arrived in Dhaka on Monday to a maiden series in Bangladesh.

Zimbabwe, who were whitewashed in the triangular tournament with Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Sharjah last week, will play two tests and three one-day internationals in Dhaka and Chittagong.

Bangladesh have lost all the five tests they played since achieving test status in 2000, one against India last November, two against Zimbabwe in April and one each against Pakistan in August and Sri Lanka in September.
