Injured King out of Sri Lanka tour
West Indies fast bowler Reon King will take no part in the current tour of Sri Lanka because of a hernia, team manager Ricky Skerritt said on Monday.
King, who missed the opening Test -- which Sri Lanka won by 10 wickets -- because of the injury, is to return home on Wednesday.
"King is not making the kind of improvements that we were hoping for and as such we have taken the decision to send him back to the Caribbean," Skerritt told Reuters.
"This is a big blow for us but we have to do the best with what we've got," he added.
The second Test is due to begin at the Asgiriya International Stadium in Kandy on Wednesday.
