Kirsten, Nel set to return

South Africa's selectors announced on Sunday that they would retain the same squad of 14 for their one-day international against India in East London on Friday.

Opening batsman Gary Kirsten, who missed Sunday's match against Kenya in Kimberley with a thigh strain, is expected to be fit in time to return to the side.

Strike bowler Andre Nel, who was released last week to play in a domestic first class match for his province, will also link up with his team mates again.

The selectors are to meet again on Friday to choose the squad for the remainder of the triangular tournament.

South African squad:

Shaun Pollock (captain), Mark Boucher, Herschelle Gibbs, Gary Kirsten, Jacques Kallis, Neil McKenzie, Jonty Rhodes, Boeta Dippenaar, Lance Klusener, Justin Kemp, Nicky Boje, Makhaya Ntini, Charl Langeveldt, Andre Nel.
