Inzamam to miss two ODI's

Pakistan batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq has been ruled out for the first two one-day international matches against New Zealand later this month, a cricket board official said on Monday.

"Inzamam has to serve a two match suspension from (one-day Internationals) and he will not be considered for selection for the matches at Karachi and Lahore," said the PCB director Munawwar Rana.

New Zealand are due to arrive in Pakistan on September 12 to play three-tests and three one-day internationals.

Inzamam was fined and given a two-match suspension by match referee Brian Hastings during the Natwest series final at Lord's in July against Australia for showing dissent after being given out leg before by umpire Peter Willey.

"We have been notified by the International Cricket Council (ICC) about the match-referee's decision and he will only be available for the series against New Zealand from the third match in Rawalpindi," Rana said.

Inzamam is Pakistan's second highest run-getter after Saeed Anwar in limited overs cricket with 8028 runs in 248 matches

He also scored a powerful hundred against Bangladesh in his hometown Multan on Thursday in the Asian Test Championship match.
