Change in India-England ODI schedule

The fifth and final match (day-night) of the one-day cricket series between India and England will be played in Bombay, on February 3, and not at Kanpur, as announced earlier.

According to the revised itinerary, released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on Monday, the England team will arrive in Bombay on January 12, after the Christmas break, and play two practice matches on January 17 (day match) and January 19 (day-night).

The first One-Day International (day-night) will be at Madras, on January 22, while the second (day-night) will be at Calcutta, on January 25.

Similarly, the third one-dayer (day) will be at Kanpur, on January 28, while the fourth (day) will be in Delhi, on January 31, followed by the fifth and final match, at Bombay, before the visitors leave for New Zealand on February 4 to play a series there.

The Englishmen arrive in Bombay for the three-Test series on November 14 and play a two-day match against the Mumbai President's XI, in Bombay, on November 18 and 19, before leaving for Hyderabad to play against the Board President's XI (three-day tie), from November 22 to 24.

They will play the third side game against India 'A' at Jaipur from November 27 to 29, followed by the three Tests at Mohali (December 3-7), Ahmedabad (December 11-15) and Bangalore (December 19-23) before going home to celebrate Christmas.
