Kumble warns South Africa

Ace leg-spinner Anil Kumble on Wednesday said South Africa will have to be wary of Indian spin bowling on the upcoming tour.

With off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and himself bowling in tandem, Kumble said, the pressure will be on South Africa.

He was speaking at a function organised by the Bangalore Advocates' Association in Bangalore.

Kumble, who is back in the side after injury kept in out for almost a year, pointed out that Harbhajan is bowling well. He said the return of the injured top five players to the side too has strengthened the squad and expressed confidence that it will do well in South Africa.

Kumble felt India's performance in Sri Lanka was good considering that the team was without some of its key players.

On the upcoming series he said: "It is going to be a tough tour. South Africa is obviously a good side."
