Second day of Test abandoned

The second day of the second and final Test between Zimbabwe and South Africa was abandoned because of a wet outfield at the Queen's Sports Club in Bulawayo on Saturday.

Rains started on Friday night and although they stopped soon after the scheduled start at 10 am (1330 IST), the field was drenched. After an inspection during the lunch break it was decided that the field would not dry in time for any play on Saturday.

Zimbabwe were 154 for two in their first innings when bad light stopped play after 86.1 overs yesterday. South Africa lead the series 1-0 after winning the first Test in Harare by nine wickets.
