ICC meeting to be held in Malaysia

The ICC has changed the venue of its October Executive Board meeting from Pakistan to Malaysia, in recognition of recent world events and the uncertainty over the security aspects of international travel to the region.

The meeting was due to have taken place in Lahore from 15th to 19th October, but will now move to Kuala Lumpur on the same dates.

"We're disappointed that Pakistan has been ruled out as the venue for this meeting but a realistic position had to be taken given the delicacy of the security situation and after receiving advice from governments around the cricket world," said ICC Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Speed.

"Every effort will be made to stage future meetings in Pakistan and I will be keeping in close contact with the PCB to review the situation," he added.
