Sri Lanka set a new record

Sri Lanka became the only second team in Test cricket history to score over 500 runs in a day's
play when the scored 509 runs on the second day of the first Test against Bangladesh at the P Sara stadium in Colombo on Monday.
England, who had made 503 for 2 on June 30, 1924, which was also made on the second day of the Test match against South Africa at Lord's, held the previous record.
