Sachin, Srinath rested for ODIs against Zimbabwe

Sachin Tendulkar and Javagal Srinath have been rested for the first three one-day internationals against Zimbabwe.

Tendulkar has a problem with his knees and has been advised rest and exercises to strengthen them while Srinath asked to be rested.

Rahul Dravid returns to the team after missing the England one-day series while Tinu Yohannan comes in place of Srinath.

India 'A' to tour South Africa

The Indian 'A' team which will shortly leave on a 32-day tour of the land of the Proteas was announced too.
