India skipper Sourav Ganguly called on Board of Control for Cricket in India president Jagmohan Dalmiya on Friday to discuss matters concerning the country's cricket.

Both Dalmiya and Ganguly sought to keep the discussions under wraps.

While confirming that the meeting did take place, Dalmiya said, "I don't want to make the deliberations public."

Pressed further, he said: "Ganguly is the skipper of the national side, while I am the administrator. Naturally, we have discussed administrative matters pertaining to Indian cricket."

Ganguly, on the other hand, said it would be improper on his part to disclose what transpired during the meeting, which comes a day after the recently-floated Indian Cricket Players Association's announcement of a medical insurance plan for cricketers.

Ganguly, who launched the scheme, had said at the launch that apart from the entire Indian team, a number of Ranji trophy sides like Bengal, Karnataka and Mumbai had signed on as members of the ICPA.
