All rounder Andrew Flintoff will lead England for the first time when he takes charge in a warm-up one-day match against a local Bangladeshi team on Wednesday in the absence of rested captain Michael Vaughan.

All seven players who joined the squad for the three-match one-day series against Bangladesh have been included for the game, an England official said on Tuesday.

Marcus Trescothick, who struck 113 in the first Test but suffered a thumb injury while going for a slip catch in the second, has also been rested along with seamers Richard Johnson and Rikki Clarke, both recovering from a viral infection.

But they are expected to be fit for the first one-day international to be played in Chittagong on Friday.

England won the Test series 2-0.

England team: Andrew Flintoff (captain), Andrew Strauss, Vikram Solanki, Paul Collingwood, Anthony McGrath, Ian Blackwell, Chris Read (wicketkeeper), Gareth Batty, Ashley Giles, James Kirtley, James Anderson.
