India vice-captain Rahul Dravid indicated that the graded payments system will be implemented by the Board of Control for Cricket in India soon, saying it is just a matter of getting the "finer things" in place.

"The Board is very positive and open. We have discussed the matter. It will take little bit of time... sooner rather than later," he told reporters in Bangalore on Tuesday.

"It is just a question of getting finer things in place," he said, adding, the contract issue would benefit both the players and BCCI.

Dravid sees the contract as a "partnership" between the BCCI and players.

"It will make the players feel that they are being taken care of by the Board and remind them about their responsibility towards the Board and the country," he said.

A three-member BCCI committee yesterday discussed the contract issue with four senior players -- captain Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Dravid and Anil Kumble.

BCCI sources said there is no "dispute" with the players on the issue. Only "detailing" regarding matters pertaining to match fees and bonus, among others, remain to be finalised, they said.
