Bangladesh on Sunday said it did not give any credence to the threat handed by a militant group in its territory to kill the Indian cricketers who were to go on a tour of Dhaka and Chittagong this month.

Responding to a question, Bangladesh Finance Minister Saifur Rahman said, "There is no such organization in Bangladesh. We have never heard of this organization Harkut-ul-Zihad before. If any fresh materials come, we do not give any credence to it".

"Our security people are competent to deal with this and so I think there is nothing to worry about", said Rahman who is in New Delhi to attend the World Economic Summit.
