New Zealand batsmen Scott Styris and Brendon McCullum will face a disciplinary hearing on Thursday to explain their reactions after being dismissed in Wednesday's one-day match against Australia, an official said.
The hearing will be held in Brisbane, where Australia will host the Kiwis in the deciding third match of the Chappell-Hadlee series on Friday.
Australia won Wednesday's second match in Sydney by 17 runs to level the series.
Styris and McCullum both appeared to be unlucky to be adjudged leg before wicket in Wednesday's game as the Kiwis battled to 244 all out in 47.1 overs in reply to Australia's 261 for seven.
Styris would be questioned over making contact with the boundary gate with his bat after he was out for five to the bowling of Andrew Symonds, the spokesman said.
McCullum was cited for showing dissent at umpire Peter Parker's decision to remove him for 21, having appeared to inside-edge the ball from spinner Brad Hogg on to his pad.
