England name team for warm-up game

England will field their Test team in their final warm-up match against South Africa 'A' starting in Potchefstroom on Saturday.

Coach Duncan Fletcher on Friday named the full-strength batting line-up of Marcus Trescothick, Andrew Strauss, Mark Butcher, Michael Vaughan, Graham Thorpe and Andrew Flintoff, with first-choice wicketkeeper Geraint Jones also included.

Fast bowlers Steve Harmison and Matthew Hoggard and spinner Ashley Giles will also be in action, along with seamer Simon Jones who was preferred to James Anderson.

England: Marcus Trescothick, Andrew Strauss, Mark Butcher, Michael Vaughan (captain), Graham Thorpe, Andrew Flintoff, Geraint Jones, Ashley Giles, Matthew Hoggard, Simon Jones, Steve Harmison.
